Overview of Services

The Vanderbilt MMPC was founded in 2001 to provide phenotyping services for mouse models of metabolic disease. This iLab webpage is specifically for services provided by the Metabolic Regulation and Body Weight Regulation Cores. These Cores provide novel experimental and surgical services to better understand mouse models of diabetes and metabolic diseases.

If you are solely interested in services offered by the VUMC Hormone Assay & Analytical Services Core or the VUMC Lipid Core, please navigate to their specific iLab pages (VUMC iLab).

We are happy to work with scientists to optimize phenotyping tests. Please email us for guidance regarding the strategy that will best serve your needs.

The MMPC also offers customizable training in addition to educational services highlighted by our annual courses Glucose Clamping the Conscious Mouse and Isotope Tracers in Metabolic Research.

Visit our core website or contact our Program Coordinator Eann Malabanan (mmpc@vanderbilt.edu) for more information and general inquiries.
